National Finals Rodeo Fashion – Fort Worth

National Finals Rodeo

Born and raised a Texas girl, rodeo has always been a big part of my life. I take part in The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo every year and have since I was born. It is a family tradition. I love the rodeo scene, rodeo fashion, and the rodeo itself! A couple years ago, I started to get involved with the National Finals Rodeo, and now I attend this rodeo every year as well. The NFR is usually hosted in Las Vegas, Nevada but due to Covid this year the great state of Texas had the privilege to host the rodeo. So this Texas girl spent two weeks in Fort Worth living my best life for Rodeo!

Drove up to Fort Worth, starting my rodeo journey on December 2nd to be ready for kick off on December 3rd. The best part of the Rodeo scene is all the shopping and fashion. Do not get me wrong I love the events and the sport itself, but this girl is all about fashion! Having a fashion merchandising degree and being in the industry for over 10 years now, I am so excited to be living out my dream.

I started off the first day of rodeo doing a booth visit with favorite rodeo booth, My Forever Cowgirl. https://www.instagram.com/my.forever.cowgirl/ Make sure and follow them on Instagram! The owner is an amazing christian entrepreneur who works so hard! I love everything I have gotten from them from my flares to my leather jacket!! They have so many amazing jackets, Seven for All Mankind jeans, the cutest leather bags and so many cute accessories. I loved doing a try on and a couple videos with them to kick off NFR! They also come to the Houston Rodeo, this is actually where our relationship started! I came home with the Seven All Mankind light denim straight legged jeans pictured below and the best white leather jacket! Check out the next pictures featuring their amazing merchandise and booth.

The second day, I headed over to a boutique out of the Dallas/ Fort worth area, that had a booth at NFR, called the Southern House Boutique. The Owner Morgan and her husband are the sweetest and also own a home building business. She is a newer online boutique, bringing street fashion with a twist of western flare! They are absolutely killing it with the cutest selection of faux leather, graphic band tees, sweaters and so many cute earrings! Their website is https://southernhouseboutique.com/ and follow them on instagram https://www.instagram.com/southernhouseboutique/ I came home with the best red blazer which is pictured below, a couple graphic tees, a snake print dress and leopard skirt! Make sure you follow me on instagram to see all these amazing pieces featured over the next couple months as I continue to travel. Check out my amazing red blazer and how cute their booth was!

The next western fashion boutique I had the pleasure to collaborate with and visit their booth was Gypsy Pearl Tx. They are located in Andrews, Texas. They have a storefront, a website and an amazing platform presence on instagram. Here is their website where you can shop https://www.gypsypearltx.com/ and make sure to give them a follow over on Instagram as well. https://www.instagram.com/gypsypearltx/ The owner, Courtney is a mom of 4, a wife and runs a very successful boutique. I loved getting to meet them. I got my fabulous white fringe leather birthday dress from them. It looked great with my red Old Gringo Boots. You can see if you agree below! I also am loving the amazing red bells and rodeo graphic tees I grabbed from their booth at NFR!

Hope you are still with me, because we have a couple more boutiques to recap and you do not want to miss out on shopping this next one! The next western fashion boutique I had the pleasure to collaborate with and visit their booth was Gina Tees! One of my favorite boutiques ever. I have been shopping with them since I was in high school and they would set up their booth at the Houston Rodeo. I would always beg my mom to take me by and let me spend some of her money. Then I would take my Mimi for round two. They are also Texas owned boutique. Here is their website where you can shop https://ginatees.com/ and make sure to give them a follow over on Instagram as well. https://www.instagram.com/ginatees_/

They have their own private denim collection, Their own make up line and then they are known for their amazing graphic tees and sweaters. Megan the owner does all of the art for the designs which I think is so cool. They are sold at many boutiques around the US, Buckle, and Cavendar’s . I had the privilege to do a booth visit with them on my 29th birthday! I loved getting to hangout with my girls Chesni and Ashton and supporting such an amazing group of women and brand.

The last booth I had the pleasure to visit with was The Riche Hippie. Bringing boho fashion, street fashion, and western fashion all into one. The cutest tee shirt dresses, shackets and shoes you will find! Here is their website where you can shop https://www.richehippie.com/ and make sure to give them a follow over on Instagram as well. https://www.instagram.com/richehippie/ The owner, Morgan is one of the sweetest human beings I have ever met. I loved my Prada inspired tee shirt dress she sent home with me. I also have a discount code for when you shop her boutique you can get 10 % off – trendsetter10.

The amount of small businesses and influencers that come together during rodeo is absolutely amazing. There is so much support in the rodeo community and its such a beautiful sight to see! I really enjoyed meeting so many new faces and finally being reunited with so many of my favorite people. 2020 was a year of the unknown and I wouldn’t of wanted to end the year any other way! Here’s to 29 and the next year of rodeo. Hope we get to start the year off with Houston Livestock and Rodeo and end it with the National Finals Rodeo. – XOXO The Traveling Trendsetter
